The SurgiClose™ REP-X Stapler Handle is a reusable/disposable device which allows for reloading of sterile multifeed staples and can be cleaned and re-sterilized for multiple uses. Total number of uses depends upon user care. Provided sterile.
COST EFFECTIVENESS
The SurgiClose™ REP-X Stapler Handle is capable of being re-sterilized by autoclave at 235 degrees F for 15 minutes, gas and chemical means.
USER FEATURES
The SurgiClose™ REP-X Stapler Handle has a shallow tissue channel and larger staple to allow for greater tissue purchase to aid aiding in assuring apposition and anastamosis and reducing dehiscience.
SurgiClose™ Disposable Cartridge
The SurgiClose™ Disposable Cartridge is a disposable device which, when used in conjunction with the SurgiClose™ REP-X Re-usable Stapler Handle or the SurgiClose™ Disposable Stapler Handle, provides an external skin stapling system equivalent in cost to conventional suture ligature and needle wound closure modalities.
- 20-25% of the cost of currently available external skin staplers.
- Simple, intuitive loading and unloading provided by the finger grip wings.
- Twenty (20) 316LVM stainless steel staples in each cartridge. Many procedures will only require one cartridge.
- Closed staple dimensions of 6.7mm x 4.7mm provides tissue gathering capability to assure good apposition and anastamosis.
- Staple design and shallow tissue channel preclude most staple roll and dehiscience.
- Clear housing provides visibility to remaining staples.
- Provided sterile in pouches of 6 or individually pouched.

SurgiClose™ Staple Remover provides excellent grip and control when removing staples after a wound has healed.
